What advice would you give any woman considering starting their own business?

The first question I would ask any woman starting her own business is 'why'? Once she has a clear vision, is passionate about what she wants to do and has a good business plan then I would say go for it. Keep believing in yourself. Be strong, work hard and never give up . If she is trying to raise a family it can be a bit of a trigger for guilt as there is not much of a work/life balance when starting your own business. Women can still carry a lot of the household responsibilities and this takes time away from the business. 

What part of your job do you enjoy the most?

There is a very good management team now in place in our main office and factory in Rathcoole, Dublin which is allowing me now to focus more on our new flagship store and coffee shop in Kilbride, Wicklow  A67YC64 which I am enjoying and very excited about at the moment.

What are your goals for 2023, business or personal?

Green Angel goals are to expand our national and international export markets and to be a source of Irish pride when recommending a quality Irish brand.  Another business goal which is also a personal goal that I have always wanted to do is to open a 'Vintage Tea Rooms' which will hopefully be accomplished before the end of 2023 next to our Green Angel flagship store in Wicklow.

What is your biggest skincare secret?

Water, sleep, and a good skincare regime.

 

Team Favourites: The products our team use again and again!

It’s hard to pick a favourite but if I have to pick one it would probably be the Green Angel Argan Body Oil.  It is so good for hydrating and nourishing my skin, and it is so versatile.

I love how soft my skin is after I slather my body with the oil after a shower. When I indulge in an occasional candlelit bath, I always pour a little into my bath water – it’s magic along with the Green Angel bath salts. The scent never ceases to amaze me.

My favourite product is the Sunrise Magic Seaweed Body Smoother as I love the lemon fragrance and feel like I have indulged in an at home spa experience when I have showered and used the Sunrise scrub.

My favourite product is the Sunrise Magic Body Smoother. This multi purpose product never fails to amaze people. It removes dead skin and the Argan Oil in it leaves you feeling super smooth! I use it on hands, feet, elbows & knees. It smells divine too.

My favourite Green Angel product would have to be the Pro-Collagen Serum. As a woman who recently turned 40 I find the serum amazing for locking in the moisture and protecting my skin from the elements particularly when I am out walking.

I love the Seaweed Bath & Shower Gel, it leaves a lovely smell which lasts for ages.

I love the Seaweed Cleansing Lotion, this is a product I would use everyday, especially wearing make-up. It leaves my skin feeling nice and soft. I use this product with Green Angel's Cleansing Pad. Both products work perfectly together.

It's very hard to choose! It's a close tie between the Sunrise Magic Seaweed Body Smoother for exfoliating once a week, especially before tanning and the scent is gorgeous - my house smells so citrusy after using it!  I also love the Seaweed & Argan Body Oil, it's amazing after a shower when applied to damp skin and is particularly good in the winter when your skin needs more than a lotion. I've also recently started using the Argan oil in the ends of my hair after styling.​

My favourite product is the Serum with Hyaluronic Spheres & Collagen. I have been working in the skincare & Beauty industry for over 13 years now and the best part of my job is being able to give women back their confidence to look and feel their best.
