Throughout the years at Green Angel
Green Angel was founded in 2006 by Chris and Mary Mitchell when they saw a need for a natural skincare brand that really works.
‘Since my teens, it was my mission in life to find a skincare product that suited my sensitive and dry skin’ says Mary. ‘I was constantly mixing various essential oils with various lotions and potions. I soon became aware of the extraordinary healing and therapeutic benefits of natural plant oils. Of course, this led me on a journey into an amazing world of magical botanicals energy and infinitely effective ingredients with many hours of delving and exploring’.
2006
Green Angel attended tradeshows up and down the country, the products spoke for themselves as their reputation and popularity grew every year. As the brand expanded, they brought Green Angel overseas to tradeshows in the UK and Europe. It was a massive success as the products were loved abroad as much as they were at home, in Ireland.
As a result, Green Angel built out its shipping operations and now delivers a piece of Ireland to addresses worldwide.
2012In 2017, it was time to give the packaging a refresh. Inspired by the incredible organic Irish seaweed used in the products, Green Angel shaped their new packaging around the breathtaking imagery from the Irish Atlantic Way.
Green Angel was thrilled at the wonderful feedback our new packaging received from customers and retailers.
2017
By 2020, Green Angel had outgrown their original warehouse in Rathcoole. It was time to go looking for an additional unit. Only two doors down, Green Angel found the perfect spot to expand its operations as the brand reached new heights.
Green Angel is now settled in the new building and successfully runs operations between the two units.
2020A year later, Green Angel opened the doors to their first flagship store. Taking over the iconic “Tap Bar” in Wicklow, just off the N11. The space was transformed into an idyllic haven for skincare lovers to shop, explore the ingredients, and relax with a hot beverage in their Junction 18 coffee shop.
The Home of Green Angel is open Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm & Sunday's 9.30am -5 pm with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating.
